Mount Hope Preservation Apartments 2 – With new and subordinated existing debt, this project received financing through NYC’s Participation Loan Program, Article 11 tax abatement, rent restructuring within affordable housing norm, and such additional subsidy to justify an extended regulatory agreement with the city. Included structural overhaul, minor systems upgrades, etc. . Developed in partnership with Notias Construction Inc. Completed, October 2017

The organization’s in-roads in utilizing tax credit equity continues to date with its 2010 ground-up construction of the New Hope Walton project consisting of 61 affordable housing units, community facilities, and 13 apartments set aside for homeless families; and its 1761 Walton Avenue mix-use project, currently in construction, boasts 103 permanently affordable residential units for families earning below 60% AMI, with 21 units reserved for homeless families, an indoor gymnasium, locker rooms, and training rooms for programs that promote health and introduce youths to careers in sports and arts to deter violence, gang involvement, and drug use.
